Under the supervision of the Manager, Regulatory Operations - Automation, the intern will work with various team members of the Automation Development team to support global automation projects for Regulatory Affairs and other Development Operations areas.

Essential Functions:

Interns will assist with automation development activities, including but not limited to prototyping of automation solutions, software design and development, test plan and test script development, supporting user acceptance testing and final delivery of solutions. In addition, the intern may conduct research on various automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence and vendor-based solutions and provide reports to the team.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

Undergraduate or Graduate student enrolled in an accredited university/college in the areas of Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering and/or associated specialty areas; including enrollment in Fall Semester after internship.

Ideal candidate has working knowledge of multiple computer programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, HTML5, CSS, XML, SQL, PL/SQL; some experience with web-based frameworks, such as LAMP, Django, Node.js, React.js, Angular.js, Selenium, Jenkins, Oracle and RabbitMQ; and some exposure to robotic process automation (RPA) packages, such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere and UI Path.

Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and good verbal and written communication skills are required.
Ability to work independently on routine assignments with regular check-ins and to work cooperatively with senior staff providing key assistance on complex assignments.
Ability to complete 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and September
