Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the expansion of our clinical pipeline through leading large, cross functional, teams toward the successful launch of new clinical trials as a Manager of Supply Chain - Clinical Launch Execution. This person will be based out of our Santa Monica, CA headquarters and will provide project management, matrixed leadership to teams and drive progression of operationalizing clinical studies. Further, the Manager will Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support implementation of a standard procedure to execute clinical trial expansions.

Responsibilities of the Manager of Supply Chain - Clinical Launch Execution include:
  • Lead cross functional team(s) by providing multidisciplinary program and project management to drive implementation of Phase 1 through 3 clinical trials
  • Develop and continuously improve Kite's clinical study operational readiness process
  • Resolve communication gaps and/or inquiries between logistics, labeling, site qualification, global quality, product quality, regulatory, legal, and manufacturing
  • Host regular core team meetings to review key risks and milestone adherence
  • Ensure clinical study compliance through ownership of global change controls


Requirements:

MA / MS degree with 5+ years' experience of supply chain logistics and/or operations and/or clinical launch execution

OR

BS / BA degree with 7+ years' experience of supply chain logistics and/or operations and/or clinical launch execution

OR

High School Degree with 11+ years' of supply chain logistics and/or operations and/or clinical launch execution

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional or certified PMP
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills along with ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional environment.
  • Extensive experience applying principles, concepts, practices, and standards of pharmaceutical project management and drug development
  • Broad understanding of the multidisciplinary functions contributing to effective and efficient drug development.
  • Solid experience writing technical documents including standard operating procedures and business enabling documents
  • Solid understanding of CMC, clinical requirements to support major regulatory filings, and the interdependencies between various subject areas (e.g., CMC, Pharm/Tox, Clinical, Regulatory, Marketing, Finance) from a planning, risk management, and execution standpoint
  • Experience using Oracle Agile Product Quality Management software or similar quality management system enabling software
  • Experience using Smartsheet project management and collaboration software
