Responsibilities
- Work closely with BridgeBio's head of communications to support and enhance communication with patients, scientists and physicians, academic partners, investors, the media, and our employees
- Collaborate with BridgeBio's network of affiliate companies to develop and execute strategic communication plans that highlight the strides they are making and bring the scientific problems they are working on to life
- Day to day activities may include developing communication plans, drafting press releases, social media posts, internal emails; organizing company town hall meetings and investor-focused programs, as well as finding compelling stories to share from within BridgeBio's network of affiliate companies
Education, Experience & Skills Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in communications, journalism, or life sciences field
- Experience working for or with biotech or pharma companies in a communications capacity
- Deep understanding of the drug development process
- A scientific background (academic or professional)
- Passion for science, patients, and compelling storytelling
- Self-motivated team player who is deeply organized and effective at project execution and management
- Effective communicator, oral and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities
- Must be able to manage confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
- Some travel may be required, but likely minimal if the candidate is based in the Bay Area
