The focus of the IT Applications Technical Manager is to execute global IT projects by leading and collaborating with technical and business teams to define, develop, deliver, and manage technology solutions projects for our clients: Grifols Industries. The IT Applications Technical Manager supports the Grifols Projects by understanding the functions and processes of the assigned business areas as well as external influences, such as regulatory requirements, best in class practices, and economic factors.

Relationship Management, Planning
- Manage a team in the projects who establish effective and trusting working relationships with all of their business and IT partners.
- Participates in the definition, development, and maintenance of IT projects that support Grifols' mission, values, and business objectives.
- Establishes and manages relationships with IT and business members to ensure IT plans and development efforts are well aligned with business goals.

Project Delivery and Management

- Execute the project lifecycle from requirements definition through go-live, including the functionality definition, implementation, testing, user training and cutover.

- Create, review, update and approve required documentation for maintenance changes and projects in accordance with the Grifols IT Methodology.

- Participates in the implementation of changes requested by the users for the production environments.

- Manage the project scope, time, cost, quality, staffing, communications, risks, and issues through project initiation, planning, execution, and closure to meet planned objectives, as assigned.

- Monitor and regularly communicate deliverables status, concerns, and issues to the appropriate business, IT stakeholders and the project team.

- Participates in estimating the project cost and time requirements, assessing capabilities and support/resource requirements in her/his area of responsibility.

- Provides escalation path for project issues, and guides team to resolution through technical expertise, business knowledge, and negotiation skills.

- Proactively identifies project risks and issues; helps determine necessary escalation, mitigation, and resolution steps.

- Ensures that project members are complying with the defined procedures, tools, and methodology to be used in each project.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

Experience at least of 3 years of functional task in SAP is mandatory: Modules related with Industrial environments: Quality, Production and Plant Maintenance

Experience in ABAP will be valuated

Experience in FIORI will be valuated

Experience in SAP 4/HANA will be evaluated.

Positions in Spain: Proficiency in Spanish and advanced ability in English required
Positions in NA: Proficiency in English required; ability to communicate effectively in Spanish desirable

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience. Supervisory experience preferred but not required.

Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate's degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience.
