The Reimbursement Account Manager (RAM) is a field-based account management position on the Market Access Team reporting to the Senior Director of Market Access. This individual will work interdependently with National Account Executives as well as field based HCASs and DMs to support access in key oncology accounts including but not limited to In-Office dispensing (IOD) accounts, hospital clinics, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), trade and payer accounts . In addition, the RAM will manage all activities with the state societies. The RAM should possess an overall knowledge of managed markets, reimbursement, and ideally will have first-hand large account management experience. This individual should possess an overall understanding of insurance types, oral and injectable oncolytics, state societies, advocacy and demonstrate matter expertise around the Imbruvica® patient support programs.

RAM Job Responsibilities
  • Key account education:
    • Educate oncology accounts about YOU&i™ Support Programs
    • Support staff knowledge of Medicare with utilization of the approved Medicare presentation
    • Facilitate IOD knowledge with utilization of the approved IOD presentation
    • Provide coverage updates utilizing the State by State Coverage App
    • Educate and provide updates to the state societies driving label updates and program changes
  • Access support for Imbruvica:
    • Identify and establish relationships with key office personnel to ensure accurate communication around any access issues or co-pay challenges
    • Utilize the reimbursement guide to educate staff on appropriate billing, coding and resources to support Imbruvica reimbursement
    • Educate staff and all substantive components of the YOU&i™ Support Programs
    • Educate accounts on support options available for patients experiencing Medicare reimbursement challenges such as the Coverage Gap i.e Donut Hole
  • Interdependent partnering and communication:
    • Support NAE objectives for field based account education and co-pay/coverage support. Supported by ongoing dialogue with NAE
    • Identify key accounts/targets with input from NAE, DM HCAS and Sr. Director
    • When appropriate, work cross functionally with other departments
    • Participate in Market Access Team calls, regularly scheduled calls with aligned NAEs and Division calls
    • Educate aligned HCAS on all market access support programs and approved marketing messages
    • Work with Sr. Directors, NAEs, Market Access Marketing Liaisons and Marketing on current and future marketing materials
    • Present Market Access initiatives at regional/national sales meetings and on division calls

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
  • 10 years of biotech/pharma experience
  • Previous large account management, market access, RAM or Market Access preceptorship experience
  • Possess knowledge within Market Access including but not limited to understanding of the pharmacy and medical benefits design, recent legislative changes, Medicare (FFS and Managed)
  • Advanced power point and excel proficiency
  • Exceptional presentation skills in both 1:1 and group settings
  • Ability to travel up to 70%
  • Proficiency at troubleshooting access related issues independently from others
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, be highly organized, and self-sufficient
