The Area Sales Director will be accountable for leading the East Area sales teams, and will optimize business performance by maximizing growth of the products within the Oncology Commercial business while remaining steadfast in Regeneron's goal to serve patients. You will empower and develop the team to achieve and exceed all goals. We expect you are accountable and responsible for all products within Oncology, developing and implementing field-based strategies and associated tactics to optimize operational and financial goals. As the strategic leader, you will be encouraged to drive the in-line products and launches, seamlessly navigating across the Alliance. You will champion a customer/patient driven Regeneron culture ensuring patients are first in all business activities.

Typical responsibilities will include:
• Ensure the Regional Director and Oncology Account Specialist team meet the needs of the portfolio to enable a successful launch of Libtayo in BCC and NSCLC and each of the additional Oncology products (if approved) in agreed upon timeframe to be ready to launch day 1 post approval (if granted).
• Develop and implement a field sales strategy in collaboration with the NBD, that will enable Regeneron to establish a competitive position and sales success in both markets.
• Analyze sales and customer data to ensure appropriate resources are deployed in the region. Allocate and be responsible for the region's budget and utilization of promotional resources
• Establish individual business relationships and a strong presence with specialists and be able to develop key relationships with specialists in the emerging tumor type therapeutic areas.
• Develop credible and positive relationships with your team, as well as aligning through knowledge and experience, colleagues in Marketing, Market Access, Field reimbursement, Commercial Operations, Trade and Distribution and Medical Affairs. Align collaboration with key partners across the rest of the Commercial organization.
• Lead a high quality, robust Area sales team capable of realizing fully Regeneron's technology and commercial promise to patients. This must be accomplished while continuing to deliver Field commitments within budget, revenue targets and timelines and remaining in compliance with all laws, industry regulations and guidelines.

Your experience includes the following:

BS in a life sciences or related field; MBA preferred. Recent launch experience with infused oncology products is a strong plus. You will also have experience in both dermatologic and lung cancer markets preferred. Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience with 7 years of sales leadership/management of which 3 years must be at the Regional Director level in the field of Oncology; NSCLC market is preferred. Experience in the "buy and bill" reimbursement area is required. Headquarters Marketing and/or Operations experience in the oncology therapeutic area preferred.

Must demonstrate strategic and tactical abilities in developing and successfully executing a comprehensive Area sales plan aligned to the national and brand strategic plans. As a strong champion of others, you will have a record of hiring, developing and retaining personnel while delivering agreed revenue targets. Leading cross-functional teams is your strength, and you achieve results through partnership with other commercial functions and across and Alliance partners.
