The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Program Management will be a crucial driver of the establishment and implementation of the Program Management Office (PMO) for BridgeBio Gene Therapy (BBGT), in close collaboration with the Senior Director of Program Management. The incumbent in this role will also provide cross-functional program management to facilitate efficient decision making, planning, and coordination to move lead programs forward appropriately and support the growing portfolio of gene therapy candidates at BridgeBio. This integral role requires an individual with extensive pharmaceutical experience in Program Management and facilitation across multiple sites. The role best lends itself to one with a collaborative style interested in building strong cross-functional partnerships. Responsibilities also include the development of processes, systems, and tools to enable efficient management of the BBGT portfolio.

  • Support the development of BBGT's PMO organization, incorporating best practices and the latest tools for optimal collaboration and communication
  • Establish and champion best practices in Program Management, including the use of templates, tools, and processes to drive efficiency, alignment, and effective planning
  • Facilitation of company-wide adoption of tools for both program and portfolio management
  • Provide cross-functional program management for lead development programs
  • Project prioritization, critical path decision making, and risk management tracking
  • Management of project plans to align with functional requirements as well as corporate objectives
  • Collaboratively orchestrate diverse inputs from multiple sources and integrate into a consistent set of documents/presentations
  • Drive accountability for project team performance

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements
  • B.S. Degree in Biology, Immunology, Cellular Biology, or related field; Masters or Ph.D. a plus
  • PMP Certification is desirable
  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management or related function in a pharmaceutical company
  • Proven success in PM tool creation, utilization, and implementation
  • Experience managing large multifunctional programs from discovery through commercialization
  • Successful track record of driving organizational processes that result in aligned objectives, streamlined communications, and effective outcomes across business, clinical, regulatory and manufacturing groups
  • Big picture critical thinker, with the ability to be both strategic and detail-oriented as needed
  • Experience managing complex projects requiring compliance, FDA, EMA, and other regulatory authorities
  • Extensive experience managing teams, including strong facilitation of highly matrixed teams
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Mastery of MSOffice, MSProject, MSTeams, Smartsheets, OfficeTimeline, and OnePager
