What Your New Manager Wants You To Know

The Specialist, Encore Publications is responsible for the processing, approvals and submission of encore abstracts and the generation of encore posters (electronic and hardcopy) and slide presentations from original congress abstract submissions and presentations. This includes ensuring adherence to all applicable policies, processes, procedures and appropriate documentation and maintenance of encore project records in Datavision.

You Will
• Coordinate with Associate Directors and Senior Publications Managers to ensure vetted encore publications are planned, tracked and adhere to established timelines.
• Create and maintain records of HQ encore projects within Datavision.
• Manage the development of encore congress submissions working with the Associate Directors and Senior Publications Managers and ensure that encore submissions and presentation follow all applicable policies and procedures, and that all required documentation is maintained in Datavision.
• For encores of HQ original congress publications, ensure that the encore submissions and presentations adhere to encore congress requirements and criteria.
• Manage the layout, printing, and shipping of HQ encore posters working with the Associate Directors and Senior Publications Managers according to required timelines.
• For affiliate requests to encore HQ original presentations, work with Affiliate Publications Coordinator to manage the development of encore congress submissions ensuring that abstracts and presentations follow all applicable policies and procedures, and that all required documentation is maintained in Datavision.
• Track assigned projects in planning tool.
• Reformat encores of HQ posters and slides according to encore congress requirements (size, layout, template, poster number, etc) working with Associate Directors, Senior Publications Managers or writers if needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of publications-related Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions.

Qualifications

You Bring

• Bachelor's degree, with relevant science, publication, or pharmaceutical experience
• Project management experience including the ability to adhere to process requirements and manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Familiarity with medical writing or creation of abstracts, posters or slides
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to assimilate and interpret scientific content desired
