Senior Engineer - CoolSculpting - Pleasanton, CA
An "ideal" candidate for this role is someone with sound knowledge of software in a medical device manufacturing environment."
Successful candidates will have the following types of experience: Responsible for the definition and development of features and technologies to continue to build the CoolSculpting CoolConnect IoT platform to deliver compelling customer and business features, which may include clinician facing mobile and web applications. This role requires demonstrated product/project management skills, familiarity with modern software development processes (e.g. Agile), working knowledge with regulated environments and medical devices. The candidate must have strong technical skills complemented by great communications, teamwork qualities and able to wear multiple hats. Experience in a software development background in a structured environment such as medical device, semiconductor instruments or aerospace is preferred.
YOU WILL:
Be a trusted and expert partner in product. Manages assigned activities on products and/or functions of products. Work with engineering teams to identify, build and launch new features. Contribute to the development of the IoT product roadmap and strategy with cross functional team
Build and foster project teams. Coordinate product development and delivery across multiple resources to include but not limited internal and third-party teams (user design, quality, software/hardware engineering, clinical, commercial, business technology solutions). Work with both engineering teams and BTS to identify, build, and launch new features
Develop and implement quality workflows. Develop expertise in product development lifecycle from product concept, development plan, to release. Develop expertise in cybersecurity standards and best practices and incorporate into product development processes

Qualifications
YOU BRING:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science or computer engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years C#/ Mobile applications programming experience
- Experience in project management using formal SDLC
- Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Prior experience on commercial product launch
- Prior experience with IoT devices
- Familiarity with Agile principles a must
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Microsoft or Jira
- Experience working with new product development in regulated environment
