Packaging Device Technologies Co-op Student (Jan-June 2021) - New Brunswick, NJ

AbbVie is currently seeking a Co - op Student to support the Packaging Device Technologies group at our North Brunswick, NJ location for a 6 - month (Jan - Jun 2021) paid placement.

You will support marketed products, new product launches and strategic initiatives for the department

through:

  • Package evaluation/testing
  • Selection of materials
  • Writing technical reports
  • Conducting packaging line trials
  • Develop packaging specifications, technical requirements for labeling and pallet patterns


Possible Projects: Perform physical testing and distribution studies to support packaging on a global scale, writing technical reports and protocols, support package transfers and product launches at third party packagers including line trials for blister and bottle packaging operations.

Qualifications

YOU BRING:
  • Rising Junior or Senior pursuing Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science
  • Strong academic performance, minimum cumulative GPA = 3.0/4.0
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CAPE/TOPS and AutoCAD
  • Excellent problem - solving, written, and verbal skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
