This role is part of a Digital Transformation Initiative that aims to differentiate AbbVie as a leader in omni-channel customer experiences and to build lasting relationships with the physician audience through omni-channel experiences powered by data and analytics.

The role of Manager II, Customer Analytics -HCP capabilities within AbbVie is a key contributor to the team responsible for omni-channel analytics in support of the growing roadmap of capabilities across sales and marketing for the HCP audience. This individual has deep skills in designing analytics to personalize experiences through sales and marketing.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Design and build measurement plans to demonstrate the impact of CRM/digital experiences. Builds test and learn plans for CRM/digital at the customer/segment, channel and campaign level, including establishing learning agenda for pilots and tests.
  • Develops integrated KPIs for the physician audience. Aligns the goals and objectives of customer experience tactics to key business goals and establish the key performance indicators to demonstrate adoption, utilization and engagement for the Field and the Physicians.
  • Aligns analytics learnings to the associated research and analytics to drives insights at the customer level. Deliver optimization recommendations for the HCP ecosystem across levels such as segment, channel and content. Partners with Research, Sales Operations and Customer Experience teams to interpret results and deliver optimization recommendations
  • Supports cross portfolio approach and roadmap for analytic data triggers and enables best practice sharing to drive continuous improvement in the effectiveness of the trigger solution. Defines new business processes to improve agility of analytic support of digital HCP capabilities.
  • Develops business requirements, data needed for triggers and exploratory data analyses to define metrics for triggers.
  • Consults and develops on analytics strategy and conducts measurement planning for new HCP capabilities including data requirements, defining reporting and advanced analytics solutions as required.


Qualifications

Education:

  • MBA preferred. Bachelor's Degree required


Background:

  • 9-12 years of professional experience
  • 6-8 years of Multi-channel (Web, CRM and Digital) Analytics expertise
  • 6-8 years advanced analytics experience with advanced analytics techniques
  • 6-8 years of experience identifying and outlining key campaign metrics and building campaign proformas/measurement plans/marketing analytics.
  • 6-8 years of managing / working with multiple and diverse data sets for analytics


Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Advanced understanding in navigating in a matrix environment in a large company, including effective communication and influence skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a wide variety of analytic projects / portfolio and multiple priorities
  • Strong abilities to deliver actionable insights by combining data/analytics with research and business trends


Preferred:

  • Analytics Innovation, launch and pilot experience - rapid test/learn to pilot/roll out and scale
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred (4-6 years)
