We are seeking a Staff Accountant who can perform intercompany, consolidation, and reporting tasks, including performing accounting close responsibilities, preparation of financial statements and related disclosures for statutory filings, and assisting in other ad hoc projects.
A typical day might include:
  • Responsible for the preparation of various intercompany accounting schedules related to the monthly close process, and compilation of reports used to provide monthly/quarterly/annual financial information to Senior Management.
  • Responsible for performing monthly close processes utilizing Oracle modules, including working closely with individuals at the Company's two manufacturing facilities.
  • Ensure consolidation process is accurately performed.
  • Assist in the implementation and testing of new processes and IT systems.
  • Prepare intercompany accounting journal entries through various IT systems, prepare intercompany invoicing and analysis, and discuss quarterly results with Senior Management.
  • Responsible for accounting for intercompany transactions, including the review of trial balance information, related to the Company's international and domestic subsidiaries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and related supporting schedules in connection with statutory financial statements for Company's international and domestic subsidiaries (in accordance with the applicable accounting standards).
  • Assist with the implementation of business initiatives, including international tax planning, and ad hoc requests from internal and external partners.
  • Interact directly with the Company's external auditors.
  • Work and communicate effectively with various departments across the organization, including Finance, Tax, Treasury, etc.

To be considered for this opportunity you need a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting combined with 1-3 years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience within a public company. High proficiency with Microsoft applications is required and knowledge of Oracle is a plus. We need someone who can apply their general understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and SEC rules and regulations into all accounting and financial tasks. A background in Intercompany transactions is needed.
