This position will be on a weekend shift. Either Thursday-Sunday (10 hour work days) or Friday-Monday (10 hour work days). There also might be flexibility for a 5 day schedule (8 hour work days) just as long as the weekend is covered.

What Your New Manager Wants You To Know

I am looking for an Equipment Technician who will coordinate, schedule and perform equipment Preventive Maintenance and repairs for Manufacturing, Quality and R&D departments. Must have the ability to follow applicable Maintenance procedures and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic and mechanical equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electronic and hard copy equipment files. Possess a functional understanding of the installation, set-up and operation of manufacturing, lab and test equipment. Has the ability to utilize available resources to acquire equipment information for repair, reference and research purposes. Understands and executes engineering test protocols and procedures. Maintain spare parts inventory. Act as liaison with outside contractors and vendors for equipment service, repair and contracted maintenance. Will be expected to learn other equipment systems, i.e. equipment calibration & qualification. Respond to equipment and environmental alarms during off hours when required. Be able to take direction from multiple individuals, multi-task and prioritize workload. Candidate will be required to respond to an on-call schedule.

You Will

Perform Preventive Maintenance on production, Quality and R&D equipment

Repair various equipment types and document all work performed on our EWR System

Perform equipment calibrations on electrical, pneumatic, and analytical equipment

Enter all equipment events into our CMMS and complete all required equipment forms.

Equipment installations, including start up and commissioning.

Maintain Spare Parts inventory and make necessary purchases

Work with outside service contractors and vendors for equipment service repair and contracted maintenance

Respond to environmental and equipment alarms as needed

Qualifications

You Bring

Education and Experience

 

  • High School Diploma. Technical School preferred

 

  • 3-5 years' experience in equipment repair (electrical / mechanical / pneumatic)

 


Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies (includes Licenses, Credentials)

 

 

  • Using a database and report functions
  • MS Excel and MS Word proficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Familiar with GDP
