The Associate Director of Digital & Consumer Strategy for Dry Eye will be responsible for enabling growth acceleration and further enhance our customer experiences by enabling and optimizing digital components in the omni-channel presence, including social media, for Restasis and Refresh.

In addition, the candidate will oversee the development of end-to-end performance reporting capabilities, highlighting efficacy of campaigns and identifying synergies and opportunities with our omni-channel digital executions.

This person will have in-house and agency support but should be equally comfortable "getting their hands dirty" creating requirements, business rules, workflows, digital content, etc. where needed.

This individual should be highly collaborative, as they will be working with various internal customers and partners as well as getting buy-in from key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong track-record demonstrating how s/he has successfully taken ideas from inception to completion.

Main Areas of Responsibilities
  • Create, develop and implement digital, technological omni-channel vision and consumer strategy across brands based on understanding consumer insight and behaviors.
  • Define and drive focused interventions and capabilities to create efficiencies, drive customer engagement and improve customer centric approach to accelerate using digital methodology and tactics, as well as data-based decision making. Utilizing the research, analysis, and monitoring of financial, technological and demographic factors, and designs marketing plans to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Create and implement a digital customer journey (Patients & HCPs), by working with Business Excellence and collaborating with Marketing, Communications and Supply Chain to create a seamless, unique value-added customer experience.
  • Build digital capability to improve our brands and business' go-to market capabilities by championing innovative ways to propel growth through customer / consumer engagement, adopting a hands-on management approach and supporting cutting edge digital channels across the organization, including the potential of e-commerce.
  • Works with broader Digital Operations and cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, document, and socialize campaign and channel execution strategies.
  • Partners effectively with cross-functional leads to deliver against the business forecast and company KPI's.
  • Acts as subject matter expert on best practices for digital marketing capabilities and execution; advises cross-functional teams on process and technical execution.


Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Significant and proven experience in Digital & Consumer Marketing either in-house or from a consultancy/agency background.
  • The ability to translate technology into tangible commercial applications.
  • Has experience partnering with IT engineers and/or IT engineering companies working on digital solutions.
  • Must have a deep understanding of the Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Ads Manager, Ad Servers, Programmatic Buying Platforms, Online Video, Email Marketing, Push notifications, Mobile and more
  • Has a proven track record of driving business and building brands through digital platforms and has experience driving 'best in class' consumer experience through behavioral data analysis and decision making.
  • The ability to understand business brand needs, and influence partners to create solutions that advance the business agenda.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to creatively articulate (internally and externally) strategies and tactics that drive change, collaboration and innovative solutions, courtesy of analytics, insights and data.
  • Managing multiple stakeholders in a changing and flexible environment.
  • A passion for building, bringing to market, and scaling digital products and services.


Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Master's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in Digital & Consumer Marketing - pharma not mandatory
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time
