Director, aMDD - Product Marketing

You are more than just a job title, you are:

• Strategic Commercial Leader - as a member of the Psychiatry Integrated Brand Team, you will provide strategic leadership for launch planning and preparation of a new psychiatric indication.


• Lead the development of commercial strategy and launch execution
• Lead the analysis and development of market opportunity assessment, market value drivers, relative competitive assessment, integrated positioning and strategic launch imperatives
• Collaborate with medical affairs partners to develop insights that support complimentary commercial and medical brand objectives
• Define market research objectives with cross-functional input for physicians, payers, and patients
• Liaise with finance and forecasting partners to develop commercial forecast including driving assumptions and sensitivity analyses for market drivers
• Partner with health economics and market access on payer projects and value story
• Partner closely with the Integrated Brand Team Leaders to drive overall strategy
• Lead brand planning process that integrates marketing, pricing & reimbursement, market access and medical to define product positioning and differentiation including messaging and value story
• Work with Corporate Communications, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy and R&D on new indication communication strategy and plan


• Bachelor's degree; Advanced degree preferred
• At least 10 years of relevant experience with a successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing - strong analytical and strategic marketing skills
• Previous experience in Strategic Brand Development, In-line Marketing, marketing consulting roles, and/or consumer healthcare focused advertising and promotion role
• Experience in CNS and psychiatry is preferred
• Experience in strategic positioning of products for success within competitive environments
• Scientific acumen & therapeutic understanding, with the ability to analyze complex datasets
• Strong financial acumen with a good understanding of P&L drivers and the ability to develop appropriate investment & sales forecasts
• Deep understanding and experience of US market access environments
• Experience with launch &/or on-market commercial teams an advantage
• Experience working within matrix-based teams and project management
