YOU ARE more than just a title, YOU ARE...

• A Relationship Builder - Represent the company and acts as its liaison with mental health patient advocacy groups and industry associations
• A Business Driver - You will assist with the creation and execution of marketing initiatives to help grow the >$1Bn AbbVie US psychiatry franchise that includes VRAYLAR® and VIIBRYD®.
• A Collaborative Project Manager - You will work cross-functionally to develop and manage marketing programs for the psychiatry franchise.
• An Innovator Who Challenges the Status Quo - You will use data and insights to create new ways to engage with our customers. You can influence cross-functional stakeholders who will help you create the future.
• A Strategic Partner - You will work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to create brand strategies that drive growth.

YOU WILL:

• Develop Relationships and Knowledge - Manage and foster relationships with patient communities and advocacy groups relevant to the mental health space and serve as a key point of contact with advocacy stakeholders
• Collaborate and Communicate - Coordinating the work of multiple agencies, external advocacy groups, and internal departments, including corporate communications, government affairs, and other corporate functions to support the execution of sponsorships and programs
• Innovate at Every Step - Identifying opportunities to differentiate AbbVie psychiatry products through innovative forms and methods of customer communication. You will champion the patient voice based on understanding the patient perspective to help inform decisions across AbbVie
• Plan for An Exciting Future - Participating in the strategic planning process to create the future for our in-line and pipeline psychiatry products
• Act as a Leader - Develop overall advocacy strategy as it relates to mental health and develop tactics to support education on our therapies through effective advocacy relations
• Manage Budgets - Carefully coordinating and tracking spend on projects under your management

Qualifications

YOU BRING:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
• Master's degree, PharmD, or PhD (in a relevant field) preferred
• Patient Advocacy experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience required, or 2 years with a background in management consulting
• Healthcare industry experience with an established track record in managing industry-based marketing functions
• Analytical skills
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills
• Clear communication skills, both verbal/presentation and written
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Financial/budgetary experience
• Ability to travel up to 25%
