Associate Director, Professional SkinMedica & Latisse

YOU ARE more than just a title, YOU ARE...
  • A Strategic Brand Expert. You are responsible for the professional & consumer marketing activities for SkinMedica products & the Latisse brand. Develops the professional & consumer marketing strategies, demand forecasts and marketing plan, including the development of key messages, sales force materials, field promotions and programs to meet sales targets. Directs the execution of the plan and management of advertising agencies.


  • A Collaborative Key Player. You will serve as the main point of contact for field channel, developing strong cross-functional relationships and educate key operational and business leaders to create an awareness and advocacy of SKM & Latisse products. Develops, executes and communicates core tactics and messages to the sales organization and works with internal and external cross functional teams on planning, development and implementation of sales force materials and programs. The PM will work closely with the respective team to ensure communications to consumers and to derms/plastic surgeons/other are closely aligned as appropriate.


YOU WILL:
  • Manages the SKM & Latisse portfolio, field interface and setting future strategies. Responsible for marketing activities for all current and future products in the U.S. SKM & Latisse portfolio. This includes the development of all direct sales tools, advertising and special media projects, peer to peer promotion, budget management, field promotions, sample allocation and management, forecasting, management of packaging and manufacturing issues, regulatory needs and market research.
  • Develops effective working relationships with Sales, key VIPs, physicians and other staff groups to assist in guiding marketing programs. Works with field sales representatives on a regular basis. Leads all strategic communications efforts for the brand, attends major conventions and meetings as directed.
  • Maintains a customer focus that includes partnering with physicians to improve patient retention and loyalty, ultimately demonstrating the value that Allergan and the SkinMedica/Latisse portfolio brings to physician practices. Includes strategic planning regarding consumer loyalty initiatives, and ongoing monitoring of performance metrics.
  • Works with Market Research to measure and analyze consumer awareness, conversion and loyalty. Evaluates marketplace trends and competitive activities and create offensive strategies to capitalize on trends. Continuous monitoring of performance metrics, including thorough review and interpretation of monthly metrics reports. Collaboration with Market Analytics team and Agency partners to identify and understand trends and to recommend program adjustments as deemed necessary to meet long-term goals and objectives
  • Manages the professional marketing and sample budget and evaluates program ROI. Rigorous management of Expense Budgets and, where appropriate, Sales Forecasts. Conducts quarterly variance analysis and continuously monitors expenses to ensure they are in-line with quarterly and annual budgets. Identifies changes in market or program conditions which would lead to favorable/unfavorable variance to budget/forecast.


Qualifications

YOU BRING:
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
  • Seven or more years of business experience of which at least half should be in physician facing professional sales/marketing function
  • Strong project management and/or product launch skills
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Lead and influence as evidenced by experience as a manager/project leader
