  • Strategic Planner & Developer: Leads and manages major cross-functional initiatives in support of franchises, including advocacy strategy in migraine and focusing on the 3-5 year time horizon for the migraine franchise

  • Leads and manages major cross-functional initiatives in support of franchises, including advocacy strategy in migraine
    • Develops strategy and oversees execution of plan to support patient access to novel migraine therapies
    • Leads efforts to generate compelling data by working with MABI
    • Develops key KOL and patient advocacy relationships and mobilizes action plans with the goal of increasing patient access to novel migraine therapies
    • Develops, oversees, and tracks execution plan
  • Assists in strategy development for migraine franchise, focusing on the 3-5 year time horizon
    • Identifies key medium- and long-term strategic priorities for migraine businesses to maximize growth and revenue potential in the business
    • Develops insights into future drivers of the business, including competitive landscape and patient, HCP, and payer behavior
    • Works with brand leads to identify franchise-level opportunities
    • Drives major cross-brand investment decisions; develops analysis and business cases, as well as execution plans
    • Works to gain input and cross-functional alignment with brand teams, sales, market access, R&D, operations, finance, etc.
    • Ensures alignment with Botox team and prioritization of HCP and patient segments
  • Leads development of U.S. CNS priorities for acquisition, licensing, and partnership in Migraine, in partnership with brand teams, clinical, medical, and the BD organization.
    • Synthesizes understanding of clinical practice, state of the science, and view of commercial opportunity to drive strategic decisions about portfolio, strategy, and BD opportunities in CNS businesses
    • Guides identification and U.S. assessment of new CNS pharmaceuticals and medical technologies for acquisition, licensing, or partnership, taking into account U.S. market needs, existing commercial infrastructure, and the evolution of clinical practice and unmet needs
    • Works closely with brand and cross-functional partners on U.S. CNS inorganic growth strategy and plan


  • Masters degree or other advanced degree preferred
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience with a successful track record in strategy/ leadership/marketing/executive roles in biopharma, payor/specialty pharmacy, and top tier biopharma consulting firms
  • Demonstrated track record of leading large, successful initiatives at corporate / division level
  • Experienced people leader, with demonstrated track record of leading and motivating teams cross-functionally
  • Ability to synthesize understanding of clinical practice, state of the science, and assessment of commercial opportunity to drive strategic decisions about portfolio, strategy, and BD opportunities
  • Ability to identify key strategic questions at the franchise and TA level, generate and communicate strategic insight, build alignment across stakeholders, and develop execution plans
  • Understanding of clinical and claims-based data generation and development of evidence generation plans
  • Credibility with internal scientific and clinical colleagues and external KOLs
  • Experience driving major cross-functional initiatives; credible and effective at working across R&D, Commercial and Corporate Functions
  • Deep experience in and knowledge of CNS, including mood disorders and migraine, preferred
  • Strong financial acumen with a good understanding of P&L drivers and the ability to develop appropriate investment business cases
  • Deep understanding and experience of US market access environment, product launch, and marketing strategy
