There is a need for a Sr. Logistics Analyst to facilitate the export order process ensuring timely supply of goods from US manufacturing plant(s) and distribution centers. The position will require transactions in SAP, timely preparation of export documentation including Automated Export System filing, forecasting and coordination of logistics, maintaining record keeping in BOX and SharePoint sites, communicating with international contacts and outside vendors as well as supporting continuous improvement in the areas of Service, Quality, and Cost.

Support the U.S. and Global Logistics departments, external distributors and customers to meet service levels associated with the exportation process within the export supply chain. Responsibilities include knowledge of SAP and exporting requirements (Incoterms, Export documentation, Banking instruments (Letters of Credit, Bank Drafts). This position requires good organizational skills, timeliness of requirements, good communication skills with an acute awareness of international cultural differences. Other responsibilities include preparing and distributing reports, coordinating international logistics, maintaining export shipment files and responding to audits and reviews.

  • Transacting orders in SAP, preparing export shipment documents in accordance with the country's regulatory requirements and the export master shipping instructions.
  • Forecasting and arranging the logistics for the export shipments, ensuring that all milestones are met within the export shipment lifecycle.
  • Responsibilities include SAP documents integrity, precise logistics arrangements, accurate AES filing with export customs, gathering and maintaining documents, and timely communication.


Qualifications
Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business or other related field
  • 3 years export supply chain skills and knowledge of logistics principles
