ABOUT THE POSITION:

Responsible for coordinating and supporting SCM strategy in North America, for demand and supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, and packaging services; Ability to work in a start-up environment with ability to propose new processes and systems. This position is reporting into Head of Supply Chain Management, Americas

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY DELIVERABLES:
  • Supports the S&OP & NPI process by facilitating Global Supply Review (GSR) with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Analyzes inventory levels, inventory positioning, and planned production and sales, R&D as well as coordination of new product launch plans.
  • Creates quarterly annual supply forecasts; Develops and reports department KPI’s
  • Identifies relevant risks/ contingency opportunities related to supply chain for a product or products and escalates it to leadership
  • Proven knowledge to manage suppliers and drive new supplier selection processes
  • Facilitates robust communications with RA, Quality, Operations, and site Materials Management organizations relevant to supply issues
  • Maintain timeline for shipments to partners, distributors and customers.
  • Assist in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability of develop a team with increasing responsibilities
  • Knowledge of serialization and master data management
  • Preferred: Thorough knowledge of shipping requirements for domestic and international destinations as they relate to pharmaceutical supply chain, procurement and materials management
  • Preferred: Knowledge of import and export requirement for shipping and receiving of goods

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Logistics or Supply Chain preferred) with 13+ years work experience or Masters Degree with 10 years work experience within the life sciences industry (medical devices preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite programs, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Projects and Powerpoint
  • Experience working with DRP, MRP, and ERP systems (SAP is preferred)
  • Strong project Management skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive consensus
  • 5 years inventory planning experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in supply chain or equivalent professional certification such as APCIS certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Exercises situation appropriate behavior in dealing with others and works effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Gathers and analyzes information to make decisions without requiring direct management involvement
  • Anticipates issues or problems and takes preventative action
