We are currently seeking a qualified, highly motivated, experienced individual for the position of People Operations Associate. The position reports to the Executive Director, People Operations and Analytics . The location of the position is in Brisbane, CA.

Summary Description

The People Operations Associate is at the heart of all people transactions and the ir related systems (HCM, ATS, payroll, and equity), processes and policies including benefits , compliance, onboarding and off-boarding of employees, leaves of absences, and supporting various employee programs. This position partners closely with HR B usiness P artners, Talen t Acquisition, as well as with cross-functional partners like IT, Payroll, and Legal. The People Operations Associate will have a passion for continuous process improvement and have a customer-service orientation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide fir st-line support for all inquiries from employees regarding programs , benefits, policies, leaves of absences, and any other HR-related questions
  • Ensure the confidentiality, accuracy, security, and timely maintenance of people data within all systems : ADP (payroll), Greenhouse (ATS), and our future HRIS
  • Manage core HR workflows (e.g. on-boarding, off-boarding, transfers, internal movements), acting as a liaison to various stakeholders with varying degrees of involvement
  • F acilitate new hire orientations to ensure seamless integration of employees
  • Support the implementation of Myovant's new HRIS (i.e., evaluation, vendor management, user acceptance testing), then support the organization in getting the most from our people data
  • Partner closely with Finance on SOX audit compliance, monthly payroll activities, and equity administration
  • Help define, track, and analyze people-related metrics and provide insights for talent discussions
  • C reate process documentation and "How-to-Guides" for employees to efficiently navigate annual processes (i.e., goal setting, performance management, open enrollment)
  • Partner with other HR team members to execute people-related programs (i.e., wellbeing, engagement, and culture development)
  • S upport continuous improvement projects, such as improving data integrity and workflows

REQUIREMENTS

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination) of relevant experience


Experience
  • Working knowledge of systems and recruiting / onboarding process workflows
  • Ability t o quickly learn the business needs and make decisions using sound judgement
  • Experience communicating to stakeholders who do not have a direct reporting relationship
  • P roblem solving and critical thinking skills; comfortable viewing challenges holistically with the ability to consider all interdependencies before acting
  • Basic project-management skills, from concept to planning to implementation
  • K nowledge of local, state , and federal regulatory requirements , as well global employment regulations in countries other than the United States
  • Proven experience handling confidential information with the ability to show good judgment
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft applications (OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint)


TRAVEL, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • R egularly required to operate standard office equipment
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time
  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk
  • Regularly required to use hands to operate computer and other office equipment
  • Close vision required for computer usage
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and lift up to 20 pounds
