Marketing Manager, Multichannel Management (MCM) US Oncology, Sotorasib (AMG 510)

We have world-class cross-functional staff across the globe including sales and marketing, medical science liaisons, oncology nurse specialists and customer account teams to ensure our discoveries go from bench to bedside.

The Marketing Manager MCM will play an important role in maximizing the value of Sotorasib, a novel KRAS G12C targeting molecule being developed in Lung cancer. This individual will also lead the alignment of multichannel programs with field driven promotions to develop Integrated Marketing capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to work on a launch product in a highly dynamic therapeutic area.

This position will report to the Commercial Director for Sotorasib (AMG 510) in the Oncology Business Unit.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan, execute, and analyze digital and traditional media marketing campaigns designed to reach and engage target Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and patients
  • Collaborate with brand team to translate tactical marketing plans into engaging digital campaigns for target customers
  • Partner with creative agencies, MAC, brand and IS teams to develop multichannel content for distribution via various channels including print, video, email, e-detail, banners etc.
  • Partner with field force to integrate multi-channel marketing programs into field promotional efforts
  • Partner with HCP and DTP media buying agency partner to develop robust broad reach and targeted media plan
  • Manage campaign development timelines, budgets and performance to deliver on brand KPIs
  • Oversee HCP targeting and segmentation strategies for multi-channel campaigns and database marketing programs utilizing test/control methodologies to assess campaign lift and ROI
  • Partner with multi-channel marketing analytics team to continuously optimize campaigns
  • Communicate campaign and customer insights and opportunities to help refine brand positioning, messaging, targeting and budget allocation across channels
  • Ensure that budget management is a priority with all projects/budgets within approved limits. Manage program budgets and developing metrics to ensure success of programs under responsibility.
  • Inform key stakeholders on multi-channel campaign performance and be a champion for multi-channel physician and patient innovation within the OBU
  • Coach and develop future marketing interns on MCM initiatives focused on the HCP and consumer


Basic Qualifications

• Doctorate degree

OR

• Master's degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

• Associate's Degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

• High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree in marketing, healthcare or related discipline
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical/device or healthcare marketing or advertising experience.
  • Prior Oncology launch experience in highly competitive therapeutic areas is preferred .
  • Experience with multi-channel brand and disease state campaigns, patient marketing and mix of traditional and digital media channels, SEM, SEO
  • Successful track record operating in a nimble, competitive and fast-paced therapeutic area .
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, familiarity with the uses and limitations of biopharmaceutical data sources and analysis techniques, and the ability to think strategically, solve problems and drive results
  • Proven experience leading and managing cross-functional teams, navigating legal/regulatory/medical processes.and working with field facing teams to implement programs with measureable business impact.
  • Outstanding project management skills and experience managing multiple vendors and agency partners
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
