Position Summary:

This position will manage enterprise-level patient programs and collateral development in support of Patient Services' goal of assisting patients with medication adherence and compliance. This position will also be responsible for maintaining Patient Services' brand positioning and messaging, ensuring content is consistently represented across all brands.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage patient pull-through and adherence patient programs designed to motivate and drive behavior change (e.g., patient webinars, eCRM programs, and digital engagement tools).
  • Develop content to launch and maintain the Patient Services brand identity and core messages, driving consistency in how support programs are positioned and discussed internally and externally.
  • Work closely with corporate communications to integrate the Patient Services narrative into the corporate narrative creating alignment across the two brand identities.
  • Work closely with brand marketing teams to develop and integrate the patient services narrative into the brand narrative.
  • Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the Patient Services external-facing website content, features and functionality.
  • Develop and integrate materials into the Patient Services patient engagement framework enriching how Patient Access Managers (PAMs) work with patients in support of initiation, adherence and compliance.
  • Engage externally to understand patient services marketing best practices keeping Horizon at the forefront of the industry.
  • Define, monitor and report on KPIs related to patient services marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with patient engagement director and patient services to develop strategic marketing plans as input into the brand-specific annual planning process.
  • Manage budget, evaluate cost effectiveness of spend and ensure appropriate allocation of resources.
  • Work closely, with regulatory, legal and medical affairs on program and content development and to manage tactics through the PRC process.
  • Understand Salesforce.com Cloud and how to leverage and integrate components to meet internal and external customer needs
  • Demonstrate strong project management capabilities and effectively manage a budget
  • Have a documented history of success that supports ability to collaborate broadly and demonstrate influence without authority


Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field. MBA a plus
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience managing patient or consumer digital marketing required
  • 4+ years of marketing experience required with a preference for relevant healthcare marketing and/or pharmaceutical/advertising/communications agency experience
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels to drive initiation, adherence and compliance
  • Expertise working across multiple projects and managing multiple external vendors
  • Requires approximately 10-15% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments
  • Strong planning, project management, communication, and organization skills
  • Team-oriented attitude with demonstrated success as a valued colleague within a cross-functional team
  • Experienced in managing tactics through the regulatory approval process
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
