We are seeking a qualified bioanalytical Research Associate with experience using LC-MS for measurement of small molecule concentrations in various matrices (i.e. blood, plasma, tissues, etc.). The ideal candidate will be familiar with various sample extraction techniques and should be able to perform routine LC-MS method development, maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience with high resolution mass spectrometers (Q-Exactive), Sciex QQQs and Phoenix WinNonlin software is a plus. You will collaborate with other drug discovery researchers on small molecule analysis and engage in a fast paced, scientifically driven company – having fun while on a mission to get results.

Your Role in Navigating the Maze:
  • You will develop LC-MS methods for the analysis of small molecules
  • Prepare and analyze PK samples; calculate PK parameters and write PK/TK reports
  • You will perform routine LC-MS maintenance
  • You will conduct in vitro studies to determine metabolic stability, plasma protein binding, etc.
  • Coordinate with CROs for scheduling of studies and shipment of samples
  • As a member of Drug Discovery, you will collaborate with drug discovery departments on analysis and new methods

Your Navigation Tools:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in a life science discipline with 2+ years' experience in DMPK in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with LC-MS operation, preferably in a fast-moving environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PK parameters and general DMPK concepts is desired but not necessary
  • A passion for bioanalysis and drug discovery and a willingness to learn more methods and techniques
  • Results driven and attentive to detail, with an eagle eye for LC-MS analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment is essential
