Commercial Leader Program Description

Our Commercial Leader Program (CLP) helps develop high-potential MBA talent, for future US Commercial general management positions at AbbVie. By rotating through a variety of commercial roles across AbbVie, CLP addresses the business needs of today while helping to grow experienced, well-rounded management talent for tomorrow. Over the four years and three rotations, you may work in rotations in the following fields:

  • Sales/ Key Account Management
  • Product Marketing
  • Market Access

 


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

 

 

 

  • Completion of a Master's of Business Administration, preferably with an emphasis on marketing, strategy, or general management
  • Strong academic performance, minimum GPA = 3.0/4.0
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
  • At least 3 years of prior work experience

 


Preferred Qualifications

 

 

 

 

  • Demonstrated leadership potential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Domestic geographic mobility

 


Locations

A majority of our Commercial Leader Program opportunities are based at our Headquarters in north suburban Chicago. However, roles in sales or key account management are field-based and can be flexible.
