Job Description:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Build a foundation of analytical capabilities throughout the North American HR organization measuring key HR metrics & data points. Coordinating the design, development and implementation of analytical tools, technologies, and business solutions that improve HR and business decisions and that drive operational efficiency
  • Design, develop and create dashboards, reports, presentations and visual aids designed to educate, inform and influence the decisions of HR clients and business leaders within Ipsen
  • Conduct analyses to identify trends, determining root cause of problems and determining solutions to manage them and that drive effective business decisions
  • Go beyond the numbers to extract key insights and stories from data to measure progression and communicate these insights and stories to key HR and business stakeholders
  • Manage various analytics projects and collaborate with IT and People Services team members
  • Provide coaching to HR team members on interpretation of data to advance the use of analytical thinking and data- driven decision making.


Education / Certifications:



  • BA/BS in quantitative field required





  • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis
  • Demonstrated success acting as a strategic thought partner and innovator of new analytical techniques in a matrix organization
  • Familiarity with Workday preferred


Key Technical Competencies Required



  • Adhere to strict timelines and prioritize effectively to ensure timely deliverables
  • Interact with customers to understand needs and requirements
  • Work with key stakeholders both technical & non-technical to produce strong results.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data with discretion
  • Learn how to develop custom reports using various tools including but not limited to Tableau, Workday, MS Excel etc.
  • Leverage collaboration tools to make human capital information securely available to target users
  • Interact with technical resources that support the HR systems to troubleshoot issues and implement added system functionality
