We are seeking a motivated scientist who has a strong background in Molecular Biology to create mouse models and perform large scale screening assays to support target discovery and technology development efforts across multiple therapeutic areas.

As the Scientist, VI Next a typical day might include the following:
  • Designing and executing genomic editing such as large fragments knock-in and knock-out in bacterial cells, mammalian cell lines and primary cells.
  • Designing and executing cell based CRISPR screening assays to identify novel targets for cell-based therapies as well as other therapies.
  • Building and optimizing novel technologies to efficiently capture and clone large genomic fragments.
  • Contributing to novel drug (format) development by designing, phenotyping, validating and troubleshooting new in vitro and in vivo (mouse) models.
  • Analyzing large complex data sets independently or in collaboration with in house bioinformaticians; interpret and summarize key findings
  • Managing a team of researchers to create team synergy and to drive research programs.
This role might be for you if:
