Job Details
As Senior Sourcing Manager, a typical day might include the following:
- Exhibiting a broad understanding of processes, procedures and systems and is able to use that knowledge to improve efficiency and produce high quality work on problems with cross functional impact
- Responsible for specific local contractual agreements, working with internal legal department, and driving changes that are critical to Regeneron's interest
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies for respective area of spend responsibility to optimize value
- Soliciting and analyzing requests for proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring contract objectives are delivered (savings, SLAs, etc.); ensuring compliance with local pricing agreements and internal policies/procedures
- Managing local vendor/supplier relationships and ensures performance and accountability are tracked/improved
- Developing and managing program policies and procedures ensuring compliance with Company guidelines, related laws and governmental guidelines
- Managing local supplier integration plans with internal clients for all goods and services for consumption by internal partners, business units or function

To be considered for this position you must have a Bachelor's plus eight+ years of relevant experience, with a strong preference of six years directly in sourcing Pharma/Biotech. Or a Master's plus six+ years of relevant, experience, with a strong preference of four years directly in sourcing within Pharma/Biotech. CPSM/CPM preferred. Solid understanding with Sourcing Contracting, ERP, eRFX systems preferred i.e. Oracle, Zycus, GEP, Ariba, etc. Ability to leverage standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing. Previous leadership experience preferred. Cost modeling knowledge. Ability to formulate high level presentations and business cases. Program management experience and project management experience also required
