The Commercial Information Technology organization is tasked with supporting the dynamic and evolving technology needs of the Sales, Marketing, Market Access and Medical business teams. One of the key areas that is evolving is managing data as a key asset and ensuring it is consistent, integrated and available to support strategic and tactical business decision making. We are seeking a Associate Director, Commercial Information Architecture to help transform how Regeneron manages our internal and external data to enable our commercial business teams to use new tools and approaches to bring innovative therapies to our patients. We understand how both structured and unstructured commercial data can be organized to be discovered and utilized throughout the organization while ensuring security and privacy. Regeneron's architectural approach is cloud first for scale and flexibility. This is a hands-on role with significant visibility and influence at senior levels
.
In this role, a typical day might include the following:
  • Drive the overall information strategy for the Commercial organization, including defining a roadmap to extend, standardize and integrate a wide variety of internal and externally sourced datasets.
  • Document and optimize the end-to-end information flow data across the Commercial business.
  • Focus on key data assets including but not limited to syndicated data, marketing data, managed care network and distribution data, field and patient services CRM and others.
  • Partner with the commercial functional areas, as well as external third parties, to continuously validate and improve the quality of data shared to our strategic partners.
  • Establish a catalog of Commercial data including definitions and rules for use.
  • Drive the appropriate flow of information across Commercial while ensuring compliance with data privacy, protection, security with all applicable regulation and laws; domestically and globally.
  • Work with the data owners to ensure that data security and integrity are preserved as data moves across the organization.
  • Implement information architecture framework and technical capabilities to manage information architecture assets.
  • Document data taxonomies, logical data models and business process flows for key data assets

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree with 15+ years' relevant experience or MS degree with 12+ years relevant experience. Solid understanding of pharmaceutical commercial data and business processes. Solid understanding of industry data providers, formats and standards. Strong knowledge of data integration/aggregation, data quality, master data management, data cataloging and governance. Demonstrated experiencing mapping out the Commercial data ecosystem and providing guidance on optimizing data flows and quality checks. Demonstrated experience designing solutions that integrate data from a variety of internal and external data providers. Experience managing IT capability identification, selection and implementation. Ability to define an actionable roadmap and work with functional areas to streamline and operationalize that roadmap. Ability to effectively prioritize with a sense of urgency. Experience implementing governance frameworks. Strong record of accomplishment in project, partner and budget management. Change Management skills including the ability to communicate, collaborate and influence partners across the enterprise.
