BPS Bioscience Inc. is a leading provider of recombinant proteins, assay kits, and recombinant cell lines for drug discovery and development. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative research investigator with a background in molecular biology and cell biology to join a dynamic team to express recombinant proteins in baculovirus expression systems and mammalian expression systems, improve the existing expression system to increase protein expression yields, and design and develop cell-based bioassays in the field of cancer immunotherapy. 

Qualifications

Ph.D. degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or Immunology with at least 3 years of relevant experience in protein expression, insect and mammalian cell culture and cell line development in an industry setting.

Solid and proven theoretical basis and hands-on experience in protein expression, insect and mammalian culture, and insect and mammalian culture process development.

Hands-on experience with handling human T cells, T cell isolation techniques, activation and transduction of T cells, and T cell expansion.

Hands-on experience with CRISPR/Cas9 system.

The individual is a highly motivated, innovative scientist capable of critical thinking and able to bring new ideas into play in all aspects of protein expression and cell-based assay.
