Job Summary:

This position is accountable for the Enterprise Content Management landscape, consisting of the Liferay, SharePoint (Office 365) and Appian platforms. This position is also accountable for establishing, documenting and governing architectural standards around document management.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the design, development and support of document management solutions on SharePoint (Office 365) and Appian platform solutions.
  • Assesses and analyses business requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
  • Identifies technical issues and risks and defines mitigation approach
  • Develops and presents solution alternatives along with recommendations to stakeholders including record management on office 365 SharePoint
  • Provide ongoing operational support for HCP Engagement developed on Appian Platform
  • Implement minor enhancements and move code from development to QA to production environment
Responsible for the administration of DSI's web platform, Including the following:
  • Provide user administration & security, Manage Intranet Content cleanup utility and keep department content owners informed about new updates
  • Provide web content management support to various content creators across DSI
  • Manage and monitor system performance to ensure applications are working as designed
  • Install, configure, test and maintain the applications on Liferay platform (DSI Intranet, DSI.com, business card, eDirectory and eProcurement)
  • Provide 2nd level support for all ECM on an as needed basis, including problem resolution
Provide direction to onsite and offshore consultants on Liferay and Appian platform
  • Work with department content owners to collect, verify and document functional requirement to improve Intranet Search
  • Provide direction to onsite and offshore consultants to develop solutions based on functional requirement
  • Test and UAT the functional requirements and share update with content owners
  • Apply software patches on Liferay platform
Define, document and govern architectural strategy, standards and procedures around document management and ensure vendors and consultants are compliant with standards and procedures

Responsible for researching and learning new technologies and apply knowledge to DSI's ECM platforms

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • 1-3 yrs. of overall IT experience
  • 1-2 yrs. software development experience such as C, C++, Java, HTML, React, Angular, Node, PHP or Appian
  • Experience managing web content
  • Experience with ECM platforms, Liferay, Sharepoint & Appian
  • Knowledge and familiarity in programming IDE such as Eclipse, Netbeans, VMware, Visual Studios, VIM, Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge in supporting cloud applications is preferable
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience a strong plus
