Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Sales Operations, develops and delivers solutions for the Commercial Team. This is a critical role in developing and managing creatively designed incentive compensation plans that drive business objectives for our field teams. Most importantly, this role recommends motivational incentive compensation plans for field force members and provides accurate and in-depth compensation analyses to cross-functional leadership teams. This work directly impacts targeted healthcare professional and patient populations.

Using analytical skills and leveraging expert-level knowledge of Excel, Power BI and other applications/ databases to analyze large data sets, this role partners with commercial teams including sales and analytics to design and implement incentive programs specifically tailored for non-sales positions and MBO-based plans on a timely basis. This role regularly interacts with field leadership and is responsible for providing clarity to incentive plan objectives and measures via formal or ad-hoc presentations and communications. In addition, this role monitors and tracks the success of each program, and quickly modifies plans as appropriate, to ensure that sales objectives are met.

This role will partner with commercial analytics to develop expertise on PowerBI tools to guide incentive compensation team use. Given our growth trajectory and the increasing reliance on analytics in our incentive compensation function, the senior analyst must have a strong sense of urgency and personal initiative to stay current on analytical trends as they apply to incentive compensation. This role takes personal accountability and ownership to drive for results and deliver each incentive plan period to impact the company's bottom line. Additionally, this role is accountable for guiding the use and practice of Power BI and other analytical tools across the incentive compensation team.

Responsibilities:
  • Support initiatives to drive sales force effectiveness
  • Guide incentive compensation practices utilizing Power BI for analyses and reporting
  • Provide accurate and in-depth analyses to cross-functional leadership teams and serve as an integral part of the extended commercial team(s)
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Analytics team to meet data analysis needs in support of key strategic field force initiatives and incentive programs
  • Design and execute incentive and compensation plans that support the field force objectives as determined by senior leadership this may include field non-sales roles and MBO-based plans
  • Continually scan the external world to keep abreast of changing incentive compensation trends
  • Develop sales operations presentations for the field or appropriate audiences
  • Deliver fact-based recommendations on ways to improve incentive compensation strategies and increase overall sales force success in meeting business objectives
  • Leverage expertise in working with large data sets
  • Support ad hoc projects and tasks as needed


Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's (BA/BS) required
  • 2-5+ years in incentive compensation, consulting and/or sales operations
  • Must possess strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively, ability to reprioritize project workload quickly
  • Excels in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and is able to focus and follow guidelines with minimal supervision
  • Experience in Incentive Compensation, Sales Analytics or Sales Operations preferred
  • Demonstrated success developing and presenting solutions to complex business challenges
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make confident recommendations
  • Expertise working with large data sets and analytical software, including Excel and Power BI
  • High degree of independence and exceptional work ethic
