Sr. Director, Payer Marketing
The Senior Director, Payer Marketing builds and leads a high functioning Payer Marketing team to ensure appropriate access and access solutions for payers, patients and providers.
Leadership responsibilities includes defining payer marketing strategy; and developing and executing payer marketing tactical launch plan. Requires in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the company's goals. Defines payer marketing strategy. Develops and executes payer marketing tactical launch plan. Works with medical to define the health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) strategy based on payer feedback. Gains payer insights. Partners with patients support services and the field teams to ensure unrestricted access to Bempeg. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. 15+ years of relevant experience; 12+ years of management experience preferred. Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry. Experience working in Oncology reimbursement or marketing is preferred. Successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing, reimbursement, trade, payer, HUB services and/or sales with relevant experience and increasing job responsibilities. Evidence of strong analytical skills, project planning and organizational skills required. Ability to proactively analyze business problems, identify key issues, develop solutions, implement tactical programs, and design metrics to measure business impact. Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment. Strong communication, leadership and ability to drive influence across stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure outstanding execution. Experience working closely with field organizations to implement marketing programs with measurable business impact. Outstanding project management skills and experience managing multiple vendors, marketing partners and agency partners. Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues.
