The Senior Manager of Benefits plays a key role in leading the day to day management of US benefits. You would serve as a voice in setting short- and long-term benefits/wellbeing strategy. In conjunction with the wellbeing team, develops, implements and handles a portfolio of plans and programs that help attract top talent and encourage our employees to manage their overall health and wellbeing.

As the Senior Manager-Benefits, a typical day might include:
  • Staying abreast of the marketplace, latest trends and innovative thinking and playing a key role in bringing those ideas to Regeneron in a culturally and organizationally appropriate way
  • Collaborating with finance, company leadership, and external consultants to set, develop and report on financial performance of benefits/wellbeing programs
  • Liaise with HR, finance, and company leadership and external consultants to monitor and report on financial performance of benefits/wellbeing programs
  • Serving as resident specialist on all laws that govern US benefits, including but not limited to SOX, ERISA, IRS regulations, ADEA, ADA, etc
  • Utilizing a "data first" mentality - is a whiz with Excel, reporting and analysis. Can tell a story with data and leads the organization through data insights and interpretation

To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant benefits experience, including demonstrated success leading others, both directly and indirectly. Technical knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. Ability to handle multiple priorities, allocate resources, and make decisions in a constantly evolving environment. Passionate about wellbeing, in all its forms and advocates wellbeing as a culture and engagement strategy. Understands the value of the employee experience and has proven success with employee-first initiatives.
