We are currently looking to fill a Staff Visual Inspection Specialist position. This role performs all tasks vital to support the establishment and monitoring of the visual inspection program. Responsible for supporting the development of test / KNAPP sets and building technical content in support of the training and qualification program. Seeks to understand and develops proficiency in a wide range of processes or procedures of increasing complexity. Applies experience and skills to provide recommendations and solutions and also trains and provides mentorship to other colleagues.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:
• Building and maintaining test sets and KNAPP samples
• Partnering cross functionally to establish a philosophy for visual inspection and visual inspection qualification for the operators
• Creating the technical content for training / qualification curriculum for operators
• Developing and leading all aspects of the program for classification and storage of rejects
• Supporting implementation / qualification of automated inspection processes
• Reviewing, editing, completing, and revising completed batch records, logbooks, and SOPs in accordance with cGMP standards and aligned with written procedure
• Participating in equipment start-up, commissioning, and validation activities

This role might be for you if you:
• Have knowledge of cGMP manufacturing environment and familiarity with visual inspection of liquid and lyophilized products
• Are experienced using and / or developing test sets and KNAPP samples
• Enjoy occasional travel (domestic and international) to support new equipment purchases and / or training
• Are able to contribute in all areas of visual inspection as needed
• Are able to lift/push/pull at least 40lbs

To be considered for this role you must hold a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience for the Staff Specialist level. We highly prefer experience in qualifying and maintaining automated visual inspection equipment. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
