AbbVie has created a unique program in the industry that consists of an eight (8) week summer internship aimed at providing college students a unique learning experience where their educational preparation will be taken to a new level by providing them an -at -work developmental experience that will equip them with important tools to help them succeed in their career and think about AbbVie as the employer of choice.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Industrial Biotechnology student who has completed at least two (2) years of college education before beginning the summer internship.
• Must be enrolled in school the semester following the internship.
• Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Good mathematical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• No experience is required.

Significant Work Activities
Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 hours at a time in an 8 hour day)
