Who You Are

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Development Operations, this individual will be a critical liaison between the Clinical Operations function for the BridgeBio Gene Therapy (BBGT) family of affiliates and the BBGT Controller and Central BridgeBio Finance department. This position has a diverse scope of responsibilities that includes vendor financial management, project tracking, and oversight of the procure-to-pay processes. This position will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Development Operations to ensure the accurate and timely processing of monthly accruals, invoices, purchase order management, support for budgeting and forecasting information as well as vendor selection, contracting, and change order management.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in Project Team Meetings and other Clinical Operations Team meetings
  • Support forecasting clinical trial spend and ad hoc analysis on costs of clinical trials
  • Liaise/collaborate with BBGT Clinical team and vendors to gain an understanding of departmental contracts, SOWs, purchase orders, and various other projects
  • Help build clinical trial budgets working with Clinical Operations team and BBGT Finance
  • Track overall progress of various projects relative to contracts/budget/purchase order
  • Develop and maintain the clinical trial and other accrual models in MS Excel. (Working with BBGT Finance)
  • Create and monitor Purchase Orders for all Clinical Agreements
  • Review all clinical invoices and track payments against SOW budgets
  • Assist the Clinical Operations team with Change Order analysis and processing
  • Support RFP Quantitative Analysis and Vendor Selection
  • Assist in Vendor Management and Oversight
  • Assist in negotiating the Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) Budgets with Investigator Sites
  • Coordinate with CRO and EDC vendors to review and validate Investigator Site Invoices against CTA budgets and enrollment data
  • Assist the BBGT Controller on ad hoc projects as needed

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Preferred degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the biotech space
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and work under pressure to ensure a timely close without sacrificing quality
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently
  • Have a mindset for continuous improvement and growth in a growing and evolving organization
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite tools and ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus)
  • Good business judgment and a strong understanding of clinical trial conduct
  • Finance/Accounting or Clinical Operations background is a plus
  • Knowledge of Sarbane's Oxley and GAAP Accounting
