Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Labeling Operations team as a Commercial Labeling Project Associate in Kite's state-of-the-art Santa Monica facility. As part of this opportunity, the incumbent will work with functional groups including Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Legal, Packaging and Manufacturing to develop requirements for labeling text. Additionally, the Commercial Labeling Project Associate, known internally as a Labeling Project Coordinator II, will partner with Marketing and Regulatory to develop and finalize content and product branding elements of packaging & labeling for both the US and Global markets.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Labeling Project Associate include:
  • Coordinate test printing of any new components as the need arises
  • Acquire print proofs from print suppliers and route for approval
  • Build, review and update SOPs as needed
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to develop labeling text requirements as well as content and branding


Requirements:

MS / MA Degree in Pharmaceuticals, Science, Technology, or Packaging Engineering with 2+ years of pharmaceutical packaging / labeling and/or project management experience OR a BS / BA Degree within the aforementioned fields of study and 4+ years of the preceding experience OR a High School Degree with 6+ years of the earlier mentioned experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong background with FDA cGMP standards and regulatory requirements for packaging and labeling
  • Skilled in implementing change controls
  • Exposure to document control systems
  • Ability to quickly resolve issues and communicate to team members effectively
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Experience effectively communicating status of labeling tasks/projects
  • Ability to interface with C-level executives
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment with strict deadlines
