Intellia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate with flow cytometry experience to join our growing team. The flow cytometry core at Intellia is key to advance many early and late stage projects, the primary responsibilities for this position will be to providet flow cytometric support for Intellia. The qualified candidate will have expertise of utilizing flow cytometry in skills ranging from sample preparation, to operating state of the art instruments. This position is highly collaborative and interactive across various teams.

General Responsibilities:
    • Assist with daily operations of the flow cytometry core facility
    • Provide cell sorting support for teams across the company
    • Keep record of the lab inventory
    • Help maintaining a thorough quality control/ quality assurance program
    • Organize the repair and routine maintenance of the equipment
    • Assist users with technical aspects of flow cytometry-based projects including panel design, data analysis and troubleshooting.
    • Support technology research and development
    • Communicate research and development findings with internal and external partners.


Required Skills:
    • Demonstrated knowledge of flow cytometry
    • Experience with problem solving and troubleshooting basic flow cytometry experiments
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams
    • Ability to work well in a highly cross-functional team environment


Preferred Skills:
    • Experience in cell sorting
    • Knowledge in immunology
    • Experience in panel design and optimization (6 colors+)
    • Flexible schedule preferred but not required


Qualifications:
    • B.S. in cellular biology, immunology, molecular biology, or related field with at least 1 year of experience, or M.S. in cellular biology, immunology, molecular biology, or related field with at least 2 years of experience.
