With cutting-edge technology, we are making progress in the treatment of rare and life-threatening neurological genetic diseases. Our initial gene therapy for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) has been approved in the U.S., Japan, EU and Brazil.

The Specialist, Supply Chain, is responsible for supporting the supply chain team and the development and follow through of project plans, task and resource planning.

Responsibilities
  • Works within the ERP system data to review and analyze data, create reports and provide inventory management overview and analysis that support effective strategic decision-making.
  • General project management, research and follow-up on project issues, development of solutions, tracking project milestones, and reporting performance for Supply Chain.
  • Assembling and working with cross functional teams, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules.
  • Ensure the timely completion of projects and plans.
  • Preparation of monthly performance reports; may consolidate data for Supply Chain Dashboard metrics.
  • Technical writing such as the creation and maintenance of guideline documents, standard operating procedures, and presentations.
  • Training new staff on supply chain or warehouse activities.
  • Identify potential technical process improvements and participates in developing solutions.
  • Application and support of operational excellence tool and process deployment.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Science or related technological field and 2 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical or a related industry including project management and/or supply chain.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in teams.
  • Self-starter and proactive, well organized, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience working with standard operating procedures, material requirements, and planning methodology within an ERP system.
  • Proven proficiency using MS-Excel and the MS-Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience: SAP ERP system software system a plus, MS-Project software.
  • APICS certification a plus.


The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
