Responsible for the design, implementation, support and operation of enterprise computer applications within all Arranta Bio Locations. Provides strategic vision and plans for the installation, harmonization, consolidation and optimization of applications used within the company. Develop processes around the configuration, installation and operationalization of the enterprise applications providing efficient and effective service to the company.

  • Provide strategy and leadership for IT Application initiatives, including ERP (Dynamics) and scientific systems implementation in a hosted/cloud-based environment. Responsible for maintaining security posture of those systems.
  • Provide IT business partnership to key leaders and functions - enable execution of business strategy through IT. Understand long term requirements and contribute to applications roadmap.
  • Develop and implement standard operating processes related to the support and operation of the enterprise application portfolio, specifically in the areas of security, performance, reliability, scalability and operation of these systems
  • Analyze new application needs, recommend solutions and migration strategies compliant with the future state of IT needs
  • Manage providers activities to make sure Arranta Bio is receiving the value and service levels needed
  • Manage companywide IT projects to ensure prompt right first time service
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and execute changes as appropriate
  • Ensure adherence to pertinent regulatory requirements Maintain systems and documentation in compliance with regulations, including but not limited to GxP, 21 CFR (part 11, 110, 111 ...)
  • Mentor and train staff ( IT and business ) in the implementation, operation and deployment of enterprise applications
  • Assist in the development of the sourcing strategy to meet the technical needs of the organization. Identify providers and engage with them to support company goals.
  • Knowledge of these systems are a plus: MD Dynamics, Veeva, Bluemountain and system knowledge of Electronic batch records

Experience and Skills


Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in computer sciences, engineering, physics, math preferred. MBA or graduate degree a plus or equivalent industry experience

Experience: Significant Enterprise Application experience required including SAP. Life science industry experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in a technologically challenging environment.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed

5+ years as an information technology leader

Demonstrated experience in IT vendor management

10-20% travel required

Certifications: Certifications that demonstrate technical ability desirable

Other: Must demonstrate expertise with applying abstract concepts to analyze and develop solutions in support of business goals. Strong personal skills in leadership, persuasion and communication with all levels of the organization. Must have exceptional problem-solving skills and demonstrate an understanding of business issues and how systems integrate on an enterprise wide basis


General office working environment

Must regularly communicate with employees/customer and able to exchange accurate information

Ability to function in a rapidly changing environment & handle multiple priorities.

A flexible work schedule is required.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
