Senior Associate, Commercial Operations - Imbruvica will be responsible for contract management and process improvement for one of AbbVie's hematology oncology products. The expertise of a successful candidate will include strong project management & budget management skills as well as excellent collaboration skills in a pharmaceutical/biotech marketing department. The position requires candidates to be diligent, organized, detail oriented, and be a multi-tasker. He/She should have great interpersonal and communications skills, enjoy working with people and be eager to learn and contribute.

Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

  • Manages contracts for the commercial organization -- across marketing, Business Analytics, Sales, and Market Access
  • Manages and tracks contracting operations for external / customer facing initiatives such as Health Care Professional (HCP) Speakers, HCP Consultants, Thought Leaders, Sponsorships, & Conventions as well as contracts for Business Analytics & Insights and Market Access vendors
  • Is responsible for compliance documentation including needs assessment, annual plan, agreement requests, and other electronic filings. Track, monitor, and report and variance to process flows.
  • Creates and maintains a repository of all Speaker Program and Advisory Board documents and be the lead for any reviews or audits.
  • Is responsible for the budget management and tracking of sponsorship events in conjunction with congresses and conventions
  • Leads the department initiatives with HCPs by working with the PEER team to ensure all processes are followed and are complete in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Helps improve the contracting process by taking a step back, analyzing the process, identifying the bottlenecks, quantifying the issue, recommending solutions, and implementing them
Project Management:
  • Develops, tracks, and manages project timelines to ensure on time and on budget delivery of all projects within the Commercial Operations group
  • Leads and coordinates meetings and touch points with key stakeholders
  • Tracks and manages status and identify risks to achieving project milestones
Others:
  • Budget Management Support: track spending and report final project costs; create a repository and track SOWs and other project documents
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Provide coverage support in the absence for Marketing Coordinator responsible for vendor management and contracts


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ year of professional experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Highly self-motivated, detailed and results-oriented; able to manage own schedule, work independently, and track activities and expenditures
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Possesses strong project management, verbal, written and professional skills
  • Can effectively work with various departments and communicate clearly
