As a member of the US Value & Access team, the Access Marketing Senior Manager reports into the Oncology V&A Marketing Director and is responsible for developing access tools and resources to strengthen the OPAL Oncology franchise (Neulasta®, Neulasta® Onpro, MVASI®, KANJINTI®). The final responsibilities of the role will be determined based on the experience of the winning candidate and the needs of the team.

Examples of the Senior Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Design, develop, and execute Access Marketing resources to support the Neulasta & Biosimilar franchise (i.e. iCVAs, brochures, flashcards, websites, field communications)
  • Develop Access story flow for Oncology semester meetings
  • Partner with training department on needs for New Hire Training in addition to contributing the access POV on other ad hoc training
  • Work with internal and external partners to provide guidance to budgeting process and to report on performance to budget
  • Work cross functionally with multiple groups including the brand marketing, medical communications, market research, sales operations, and sales training teams
  • Works with internal partners to ensure all programs meet Amgen legal, regulatory, and compliance standards
  • Provide direction to external partners and evaluate their work as it relates to the objective of the project and alignment with brand strategy
  • Contribute to the development of the brand strategy and ensure that all tactical development aligns to that strategy
  • Partnering with the product brand team(s) to ensure coordination for messaging and tools
  • Serving as an adviser to the field on matters/issues on payers or access support services
  • Develop strong relationships with field staff at all levels


Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 or more years working closely with marketing, compliance, healthcare company or related experience
  • Confidence in working with various levels of staff
  • Self-starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects in a detail oriented environment
  • Experience leading or being a part of a cross-functional project team
  • Experience working with key internal or external partners, establishing, communicating and leading teams to timelines and project targets
  • Experience critically evaluating process and establishing creative solutions
  • Advanced skills and familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Utilization of Project Management tools, methodologies, and practices
  • Strong project management skills, lead and run projects from concept to completion in a matrix and, at times, ambiguous environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and successfully present information
  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative, goal oriented and results driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, active listening, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to influence others while fostering a value-based environment of high performance and fairness
  • Demonstrates creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving complex project issues
