The Business Resilience Associate Director will work collaboratively with different departments and teams to identify and assess vulnerabilities throughout the entire organization. We need someone who can preserve processes and procedures in the face of unexpected disasters to avoid financial, operational, compliance, and reputational impact and to protect the brand, equity, resources, and staff. The successful candidate will develop a strategy for program execution by applying an outstanding degree of resourcefulness, creativity, and innovation. We are looking for someone to lead our Business Resilience Program to increase operational resilience by improving our ability to withstand crisis.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:
  • Driving the implementation and success of the global program by assessing business impacts, continuity risks, and development of plans
  • Establishing and Chair the Business Resilience Steering Committee with globally throughout the organization
  • Evaluating, reworking, and implementing a new business resilience policy by analyzing business risks and drive mitigation efforts
  • Collaborating with team and cross-functional partners to coordinate all activities to identify, anticipate, respond, and resume business from risks
  • Crafting and maintaining key partnerships across the organization's support areas to ensure continuity planning and incident response
  • Acting as a trust advisor for cross-functional teams throughout their business resilience lifecycles by facilitating crisis simulation exercises and initiatives
  • Developing and communicating plans and priorities to the EHS Department regarding tasks, projects, and operations
  • Establishing good working relationships with local emergency responders in the surrounding communities

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess proven experience of 10 years within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry including manufacturing. Someone who provides a background of successful management of peers and is highly inclusive as a leader.
