In the Associate Director, HCP Marketing- HIV role, you will will be responsible for supporting personal and non-personal HCP promotional tactics for the US HIV Prevention Marketing team.

The AD reports to the Senior Director, HIV Prevention HCP Marketing. Their focus will be key conferences, brand loyalty programing, and personal promotional tactics. The AD will be a key contributor on the PrEP Marketing team responsible for supporting Descovy for PrEP. The AD will contribute in setting the short and long-term vision for the Marketing Team. The AD will be responsible for significant budget oversight and management of key agency partnerships. They will partner closely across marketing functions along with various cross functional stakeholders and external vendors to implement strategy and tactics oriented to this objective.

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Support and manage key strategic and tactical executions of the US HIV Prevention and PrEP HCP initiatives
     
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, messaging and tactics directed toward HCP adoption segments for Descovy for PrEP
     
  • Demonstrate command of traditional and innovative marketing channels, including CRM, Medical Conference personal promotion booths, virtual conference booth tactics, pharmacist tactics and personal promotion sales force tactics
     
  • Support the future development of market share growth strategies and initiatives focused at various customer segments or geographies.
     
  • Coordinate the development of NPP and PP brand loyalty tactics according to overall business strategy and within agreed upon budgets.
     
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional partners to identify synergies, help solve business problems, and create efficiencies across overall HCP efforts.
     
  • Effectively manage multiple agency partners to produce deliverables within timelines and allocated budget.
     
  • Gain approval for marketing materials through internal review process to ensure marketing activities are in compliance with medical, regulatory and legal requirements.
     
  • Develop and deliver presentations to key internal stakeholders (HIV business unit, leadership team, sales teams) and external audiences

    Background:
     
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with focus, and drive consensus among internal and external stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, disciplines and departments.
  • Proven project management skills, tactical development, planning, and execution, and prioritization among competing business needs.
  • Excellent communications skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing are required.
  • Ability to think critically through complex business problems, offer solutions and clear point of view.
  • Track record of successful performance in pharma/biotech HCP marketing with an understanding how to drive business in a genericized market.
  • Experience managing and working within cross-functional teams or work groups.

    Pharmaceutical field sales experience is desired but not required
  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials is required.

    Specific Education and Experience Requirements:
     
  • 8+ years of hands-on work experience
     
  • 5 + years in HCP product marketing and innovative advertising
     
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA in marketing or related fields preferred

    Pharmaceutical Sales experience preferred but not mandatory

    Proven track record of marketing fundamentals, including brand plan development and execution, strategy and sales and commercial programs
     
  • Willing to travel up to 30%, attending conferences, market research and meeting with the key stake holders post COVID
