Process & Systems Analyst

Summary: The Process & Systems Analyst (Business Analyst-Process Analytics) will support the day-to-day business needs for the development and testing of IT solutions to aggregate and report Process Data using a Discoverant platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Responsible for gathering and verifying requirements to model process data for biologics manufacturing.
• Responsible for analyzing data source systems (Manufacturing records, Laboratory, Quality, Automation, and Material transaction systems), collating data and preparing source data sheets in support of testing and validation.
• Applies biopharmaceutical manufacturing process knowledge to evaluate changes to the process to determine the impact to data and data models.
• Responsible for writing design, requirements and testing documentation in support of validation activities.
• Develops use cases and user acceptance criteria and lead user acceptance testing activities in support of the development and validation activities of Discoverant projects.
• Designs and builds databases to gather business information for analysis, querying and reporting.
• Participates in project meetings with the IT team members, external vendors, and/or stakeholders to provide and receive feedback on project scope, timeline, deliverables and progress, and ensure that business needs are met.
• Works with Discoverant end users to resolve any customer issues.
• Develops and manages automation and streamlining of current processes to continuously improve.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing process preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities with organizational and time management skills.
• Positive, proactive approach to drive projects/tasks to completion.
• Must be a strong, dependable team player.

Education and Experience:
• Business Analyst: Requires BS in science, engineering, information technology management, computer science or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Senior Business Analyst: Requires BS in science, engineering, information technology management, computer science or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with software development lifecycle is required.
• Previous cGMP experience is desirable.
• Experience working with Oracle and SQL databases preferred.
• Agile development experience desirable.
