Job Description

Job Purpose:

Plans and schedules cGMP work for the site by scheduling and planning Preventive and Corrective maintenance work. Serves as the primary point of contact between maintenance and production scheduling. Functions as the secondary contact for inventory and purchasing related issues.

Major Accountabilities:
  • Works closely with Quality, Engineering and Operations groups to ensure strict compliance with GMP guidelines at all times, specifically to ensure that the equipment is maintained and operated in continuous GMP condition.
  • Participates in the continuous improvement efforts within the site Maintenance Program including optimization of the CMMS and filing systems.
  • Plans maintenance work with various customers (manufacturing and labs) to minimize interruptions.
  • Primary person to plan and monitor major shutdown activities.
  • Reviews scheduled Preventive Maintenance activities and assigns as applicable.
  • Generates and distributes forecasts and scheduled work.
  • Creates tracking and trending reports for end users schedule compliance.
  • Liaison for issue resolution and corrective actions related to schedules.
  • Verifies parts kitting for preventive maintenances.
  • Creates SOPs.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Physical or Biological Science or equivalent industry experience within a sGMP, pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Minimum of 2 years related pharmaceutical experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors, and management.
  • Must be action oriented with strong learning agility.
  • Good problem solving, technical learning, time management and prioritizing skills.
