As Business Ethics Senior Specialist, you will be an integral member of a dynamic Global Business Ethics group and will be responsible for the preparation, communication, implementation and monitoring of adherence to, policies and standards to promote compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will provide business ethics advice and support to the company, its subsidiaries and affiliates. and perform a variety of investigations, and follows-up on others, through resolution. Additional you will lead and/or participate in other business ethics projects, as needed. You enjoy working collaboratively with other functional areas and are comfortable with a significant degree of autonomy. Your role will involve:
  • Overseeing implementation of compliance recommendations, including those that result from due diligence and monitoring findings
  • Leading risk assessments, working with internal audit to review program compliance, and utilizing analytics to monitor it, identifying areas of risk and prioritize risk mitigation
  • Proficiency on federal, state and global legal/regulatory requirements and timely responds to field inquiries
  • Working closely with the Transparency team to advise on compliance implications under the Sunshine Act
  • Leading on implementation of business ethics recommendations and documentation/records for commercial programs and initiatives
  • Reviewing and preparing documentation related to Anti-kickback and Sunshine controls - contracts and forms review
  • Maintaining library of anti-kickback and Sunshine compliance forms and provide them to operations for consistency
  • Preparing dispute resolution procedures and advise on process
  • Publishing periodic FAQs and commercial guidance, as appropriate
  • Leading training initiatives, and developing the respective materials within areas of responsibility
  • Creating guidelines and tools, and advising different cross-functional teams to ensure compliance
  • Assisting with other business ethics work as needed (may involve international matters)
  • Maintaining a current working knowledge of various laws, regulations, and industry guidance that affect the corporate-wide compliance program, including federal and state government price reporting laws, fraud and abuse and anti-kickback statutes, OIG guidelines, industry codes in relevant markets including PhRMA, US state marketing compliance laws, FCPA, UK Bribery Act, and other anti-bribery laws.
  • Supporting the US monitoring program by auditing interactions with HCPs, produce findings reports, assist the corresponding business unit in the development of the necessary CAPAs, and following up on their completion.


In return, you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline; Graduate degree a plus
  • 5 + years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience
  • 2-4 years of compliance experience
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience required
