Novartis Gene Therapies is seeking a Process engineering Engineering Intern to provide engineering equipment support for ongoing manufacturing operations. The intern will be involved in general support of staff engineers and assigned projects based on the individuals interest and skill set. Areas of involvement could be upstream operations, downstream operations, filling operations or utilities.

Responsibilities

The intern will be involved in general support of staff engineers and upon assignment will be paired with a mentor and given independent assignments.

Possible initiatives are;

• Helping staff engineers to develop and maintain a program to highlight reliably in equipment systems.
• Optimization of process engineering specifications
• Requalification of critical equipment

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
• 3.0 or better GPA
• Current standing in an Undergraduate in chemical, mechanical, or biological engineering

The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
