VISITING SCIENTIST PROGRAM

Neurona's Visiting Scientist Program provides the opportunity for PhD graduates and scientists early in their careers to contribute to cutting-edge research to help build novel neuronal cell therapies for neurological disorders. While Visiting Scientists will apply their prior training to Neurona's scientific programs, they will also work in new fields of study and receive unique training to expand and develop their scientific skills and expertise. They will also have the benefit of experiencing the drug development process and the biotechnology industry firsthand. Another component of the program is the opportunity for foreign Visiting Scientists and Neurona employees to share cultural experiences with one another to fully round out the experience of working and living in the United States and the culturally diverse San Francisco Bay Area.

Visiting Scientist positions are temporary in nature and the company assists visiting scientists with the sponsorship of visas, if needed. Visiting Scientist positions are not the same as regular Neurona positions and do not constitute regular employment with the company.
